Available Positions

Lead Carpenter

We’re looking for a hardworking, detail-oriented lead carpenter that wants to bring their expertise in both project management and hands-on experience to fruition on client projects. The ideal candidate should have experience as a lead carpenter, finish carpenter, framing carpenter, or have significant general carpentry experience while building relationships and communicating effectively with clients. Additional experience in home remodeling or home improvement is a plus.

In this role you will oversee a client’s project, coordinate with project developers and specialty trades, while ensuring that work is completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. We’re seeking candidates that want to apply both their carpentry expertise and leadership skills on some of the Eastside’s top home remodeling projects.

Qualifications:
-Should have knowledge of all phases of construction, including being competent in foundation to finish work
-Own your own tools for demolition, framing and finish carpentry
-Be proficient with technology and software programs with the capacity for using them daily
-Must be able to read plans and follow specifications
-Must be able to complete jobs on-schedule and within budget
-Have at least 5 years of experience working in the construction industry
-Be a positive, self-starter that can work with little or no supervision
-Maintain high quality projects, safe work habits, with production in mind
-Manage multiple projects at one time with excellent results
-Must have your own vehicle.
-Must have a current valid Washington driver's license with a good driving record
-Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
-Able to work Monday through Friday between the hours of 7am and 5pm.
-Must live within a 30 mile radius of Kirkland, WA
-Framing experience is a plus.
-Must be able to lift 75 lbs.

Responsibilities Include:
-This is a “bags-on” position, but you must also be able to manage subcontractors and interact professionally with homeowners. The person who will be successful in this position is positive, self-motivated, detail oriented, can work well on their own, but is capable of mentoring those with less experience.
-Work independently to execute residential remodeling projects with the utmost attention to detail and care.
-Use our project management software to maintain the project schedule, and keep subcontractors, office staff and homeowners informed of progress.
-Develop good client relationships to ensure the project’s success and future sales.
-Proficiently execute all phases of a remodeling project, including framing, siding, trim work, cabinets, drywall, concrete, flooring, general carpentry and finish work.
-Provide oversight for all laborers, carpenters, and subcontractors, ensuring the quality of their workmanship.

Laborer/Truck Driver

Our award-winning residential remodeling firm is seeking a high-energy laborer with an excellent driving record and positive attitude that would like to grow with a great Eastside company.

We are a Kirkland-based General Contractor with over 50 years of residential remodeling experience. We primally work with Eastside homeowners localized around Kirkland.

Qualifications:
• A positive, reliable, self-starter that can work with little or no supervision
• Must have your own vehicle and have a current valid Washington driver's license with a good driving record (we will check!)
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
• Must be able to follow directions, complete requested tasks in the timeframe given
• Have a basic understanding of construction principles and procedures
• Able to work Monday through Friday, 7am – 5pm
• Must live within a 25-mile radius of Kirkland, WA
• Able to drive the company vehicle safely and competently
• Able to work outside regardless of weather or temperature
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Responsibilities Include:
• Work under a lead carpenter to execute residential remodeling projects with the utmost attention to detail and care
• Safely drive company vehicle to drop off/pick-up items at vendors, client sites, the dump and more
• Develop good client relationships to ensure the project’s success and future sales
• Lift and carry loads up to 75 lbs. and navigate construction job site terrain
• Dig pits, trenches and foundations in preparation for job site construction
• Perform set-up and clean-up tasks at a job site
