A Simple Kirkland Kitchen Refresh

A repeat Kirkland client wanted a kitchen refresh without a complete redo. While this is not our typical offering, we have a longtime relationship with Bill and so we were happy to accommodate his request. The functionality of the kitchen was fine, so improved aesthetics of his kitchen was his priority. His existing kitchen had a small footprint, but as a single man he was fine with keeping the layout. His main pain point was that the wood floors, wood cabinets, and wood-trimmed laminate countertops all had the same color tone.

Bill wanted a two-toned kitchen, so we painted the lower cabinets in Dove Gray from Omega cabinetry. The upper cabinets were sanded and stained to match Omega Canyon in Oak. He selected the Swanbridge quartz countertop from Cambria to provide a clean and finished look. New stainless-steel appliances replaced his old versions, while a double basin sink from Blanco in the color Cinder and a pull-down kitchen faucet from Delta proved to be complementary. Amerock cabinet pulls in stainless steel completed the cabinet transformation. The addition of a new garden window provided the kitchen with more light. These changes resulted in an updated, attractive and more contemporary design.
