Spa days are the best. You are pampered in a beautiful space, and you leave feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. What if every day could feel like a spa day?

When designing your perfect bathroom remodel, look beyond just bright spaces with lots of white tile. Part of the spa experience is having luxury products at your fingertips, so be sure you’re stocked with all your favorite products, especially candles to set the mood while relaxing in your new soaking tub and creamy lotions perfect for dry winter skin. Thick, fluffy towels and robes are essential to feeling like you’re in the lap of luxury.

Next, be sure to include heated tile flooring and/or a fireplace in your bathroom design. Both will make our cool fall and winter mornings so much cozier! A favorite after spa treatment is to take a seat at the vanity to refresh one’s face, so consider including a vanity area in your home for daily use.  It doesn’t have to be large, even a small area can be perfect for smoothing on lotion, putting on make-up and doing your hair.

Finally, don’t forget the foliage. Plants improve your air quality, and they benefit from the dampness of a bathroom while adding natural beauty to the space.
